These are just a few of the things we have been working on over the last few weeks...so much to do in such a short amount of time! Small important jobs to be done that add up to one large goal--Our Wedding. Our Future. Our Lives.

Summer lovin' had me a blast

Summer sun, something's begun, but uh-oh those summer nights

It's hard to believe that this summer will soon be coming to an end...It's hard to believe this is my last summer as an unmarried woman. With that being said....the countdown continues.

We Only Have 134 More Days!

As the days pass so quickly, I am finding myself dwindling down the task list equally as fast. Today I contacted Johnathan's Florist, and set up a consult to talk about flowers and bouquets for the ceremony. My sister used this florist for her wedding and she had really great results and beautiful flowers that lasted all day. According to all of the reviews I have read on him, he really takes the time to coordinate every little detail, from the color of the bridesmaid dresses to the style of my engagement ring to the mood we are trying to portray. Who would have thought flowers could contribute in such a way? Here is an idea of what I'm thinking for my bouquet.

I have also set up my first dress fitting for a weekend in October!! I am really excited about this. =D I have to find my shoes before my first dress fitting, so I am on the hunt!

Our Photographer

Tonight Justin and I went to a Wedding Showcase to find a photographer. After talking with several different photographers and looking through several demo books and packages, we have narrowed down our choice to Allan Yaker who is contracted through The Pros, voted the Knots Best of Weddings. They also offer Disc Jockey services and we are considering them for this also. We are very happy with our choice and so excited to have another thing crossed off of the to do list!

Doors

Alot of exciting things have been happening in our lives! God has been opening so many doors lately, which has been extremely encouraging in this dry spell as we are waiting, waiting, waiting.

We have been praying for God to give Justin a job in the medical field and the good news is....He's hired! He will be interning at...
Harford Memorial Hospital, in Havre de Grace, MD,
Which is...drum roll....
the EXACT place that we wanted to live!! Seriously, how could we doubt that God would provide? Pray for Justin as he starts his orientation next week!

On the apartment front, we will be touring some apartments in about a month and we are hopeful to start the lease in November. Thank you all for your prayers!
